Our history

Sohans, Chartered Accountants has grown to become one of the region's most proactive accountants and tax consultancy offices. From simple beginnings, when we were helping the region's self-employed to file their tax returns, we have developed an excellent reputation for providing acccountancy services and sorting out tax questions for both individual clients and businesses.

Sohans' proprietor is Mukhtiar Singh BA ( Hons) ACA

Mukhtiar graduated in 2003 from the University of Sheffield with a 2:1 Honours degree in Accounting and Financial Management.  After completing the Degree he obtained a contract position with a regional firm CK Chartered Accountants (formally known as Clement Keys (West Bromwich)) and was trained as a statutory company auditor.

In 2006 he was admitted as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), also in 2006 he moved employment position to a small accountancy practice in Walsall where he was trained in all aspects of taxation and acocuntancy for individuals. partnerships and small limited companies.  In 2016 he decided to setup Sohans.
